Placing an Order
• How can I place an order? You can place an order by visiting our head office, placing an order
online, or by utilizing our home service.
• What is the home service? Our exclusive home service provides a personalized experience where
our designer and an assistant will visit you with the dresses you wish to try on. For custom orders,
this service includes taking your measurements, discussing design preferences, providing design
sketches, fabric and embroidery samples, and conducting fittings, all within the comfort of your
home. Please note that our home service team is composed entirely of female professionals.
• Are there additional charges for home service? Yes, there is a service fee: AED 2000 for
locations within Dubai, and AED 3000 for locations in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
Custom Orders
• How can I request a custom design? To request a custom design, please fill out our order form,
email us at orders@marjankalhor.ae, or call/WhatsApp us at +971 50 247 2725. Our Client Services
team will be happy to assist you.
• How will I know if my custom size will fit me correctly? For custom orders, our team will create a
muslin (a sample garment made from recyclable fabric) in your final dress size. This allows you to
ensure your satisfaction with the size and fit before we proceed with the final dress. Changes and
alterations will be made based on your feedback on the muslin.
• Do you offer custom embroidery services? Yes, all our embroidered fabrics are custom-made in-
house by our skilled artisans. We do not use any ready-made embroidery fabrics.
• Where do you source your fabrics? We carefully select our fabrics from various prestigious
locations, including France, Italy, and Korea.
• Can I create my own embroidery or fabric pattern? Yes, we offer the unique service of creating
custom fabrics tailored to your individual preferences. This includes the possibility of incorporating a
special message within the embroidery design, as well as developing custom patterns and shapes
for both the fabric and embroidery.
• What information should I provide for a custom order request? Kindly include your full name,
event date (if applicable), specific customizations or modifications desired, and a style reference
(product name, style number, image, or link). Alternatively you can request our designer to create
custom new designs based on your preference and body type.
• Can you design me a custom dress? Yes, Our designer can create an entirely original custom
design tailored to your preferences, budget, desired style, and unique body type
• Is my custom order confirmed immediately after I contact you? No, your custom order is only
confirmed once you receive a final confirmation from our Client Services team.
• Are there additional costs for standard custom designs? No, we do not charge extra for
standard customizations.
• Can I request a rush service for my custom order? Yes, rush orders may be accommodated
depending on our current production schedule. Please contact our team to check availability.
• Are there additional fees for rush custom orders? Rush orders may incur additional fees based
on the urgency of the request. Any applicable costs will be clearly communicated to you for approval
before finalizing your order.

Alterations
What is your alteration policy for ready-to-wear items? We offer basic alterations at no additional
charge. More complex or multiple alterations may be subject to extra fees, which will be discussed
with you in advance.
• What is your alteration policy for custom-made items? Once a custom-made item has been
accepted by the customer, complimentary alterations are no longer offered. Any subsequent
alterations may incur additional fees, which will be quoted to you.
• Can I request alterations at your boutique or via a home service? Yes, we offer both in-boutique
and home service alterations. We can accommodate minor adjustments such as changes to length
or size. In-store alterations are complimentary. For home service alterations, there is a fee of AED
500 for Dubai and AED 2000 for Abu Dhabi or Sharjah. However, modifications that alter the original
design of the item are not possible. This service is available exclusively for items purchased through
our official website or in-store. Please note that altered items are final sale and cannot be returned.
• How long do alterations typically take? Alteration timelines generally range from 1 to 7 working
days, depending on the complexity of the work and our current schedule.
• Can I book same day alterations? Same-day alterations may be possible depending on our current
schedule.
• How can I schedule an alterations appointment? To book an alteration appointment, please email
orders@marjankalhor.ae or call +971 50 247 2725. Our Client Services team will be in touch to
arrange your appointment.
Online Orders
What is your product availability policy for online orders? All online orders are subject to
product availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, ship orders partially, or split them into
multiple shipments. Special offers and promotions are subject to change or termination without
notice. All orders require verification of order details, address, and credit approval. You will receive
an order confirmation email upon successful submission. If you do not receive this confirmation, your
order may not have been processed.
• How can I cancel or modify my online order? To request a cancellation, please contact our Client
Services team as soon as possible via email at order@marjankalhor.ae or by phone at +971 50 247
2725. Cancellation is subject to the order's processing status. Once production has begun or the
order has shipped, it cannot be canceled and must be processed as a return according to our Return
Policy. We are unable to make modifications to orders that have already been processed or shipped.
• When can I expect to receive my online order? Delivery times vary depending on your location
and product availability.
• Will I incur additional charges upon delivery of my online order? For deliveries within Dubai, no
additional fees will apply. For international orders, you may be responsible for import duties, taxes,
and other local levies specific to your destination country and city. These charges are not collected
by us.
• Can I change the scheduled delivery date or time for my online order? Where possible, you
may be able to select an alternative delivery date, subject to our existing delivery schedule. In certain
locations, you may also have the option to choose a specific delivery time window.
• Which shipping carriers do you use for online orders? We partner with reputable carriers such
as DHL, UPS, TNT, FedEx, Royal Mail, Chronopost, and Aramex for our online deliveries.
• How are taxes and duties calculated for international online orders? For international orders,
taxes and duties are calculated based on your shipping destination and are detailed on the Order
Summary page. Please select your location during checkout to view estimated local pricing and
delivery times. Your order is shipped Delivery At Place (DAP), meaning the prices displayed exclude
all import duties and taxes, which you will be responsible for paying upon arrival in your country.
Online Returns
What is your exchange policy for online orders? You can request an exchange for online
purchases within 7 days of the delivery date. To initiate an exchange, you will need your order
number. Items must be returned in their original, unworn condition with all original tags and
packaging. Items that have been used, worn, washed, altered, or damaged will not be accepted and
will be returned to you. Please note that we do not offer refunds for online purchases.
In-Boutique Exchanges
Can I exchange items purchased online at one of your boutiques? Yes, you can exchange items
purchased online at one of our flagship boutiques. Please ensure you bring the item in its original
packaging along with a printed copy of the sales invoice.
